Due to current restrictions, LOFT will meet online via Zoom as was done in the Spring. LOFT, Living Our Faith Together, will meet on Mondays at 7:00 pm beginning on Monday, September 21st. If you are interested and would like to join us, contact Debbie Streicher. Her email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
LOFT (Living Our Faith Together) is an opportunity for all ages to learn about the Christian faith weekly. In normal times, LOFT meets following worship and fellowship on Sunday mornings during the school year. Each week we begin by talking about our Mountain Highs and Valley Lows and then highlight the Scripture readings for the week. For youth and adults, the Scripture readings will be from the Revised Common Lectionary (in other words, the same readings we hear in worship that week). We will read, review, address questions as we delve into Scripture, and then close with a prayer and a blessing. The content will be based on the Taking Faith Home bulletin insert.
Children will also follow the Revised Common Lectionary and use the Whirl Lectionary Series. Children join together with youth and adults for the closing prayer and blessing.
