St. Paul's Lutheran Church is one of congregations in the Delaware-Maryland Synod. The word "synod" is a Greek word meaning "walking together". This describes the role we, at St. Paul's have in working together with other congregations in the Western Maryland area as well as those in the Synod as a whole.
