The puppet ministry team has been named "The Luther League". This name comes from the past as it was what the youth group for Lutheran churches was called years ago. Today , the name is used by the ministry team at St. Paul's as a play on words to describe a team of puppeteers who have "super powers" to "strive for peace and justice in all the world" as it fulfills one of the baptismal promises one makes in the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church).
The Luther League does presentations during the school year. The schedule includes presentations for Christmas and Easter for the APPS (A Place People Share) after school program, visits to local senior residences, VBS (Vacation Bible School).
